In combination with its cricket programme, SACA will also initiate, fund & implement  ongoing longitudinal research in both men's and women's cricket. SACA will be utilising its partnership with Birmingham City University, Taker Her Lead and ACE to start two Ph.D. studentships to (a) analyse barriers to elite performance for minority players in the womens game and (b) to investigate the most effective ways of developing inclusive performance environments
